Situated on the northern side of the Peninsula, Rolling Hills Estates is home to approximately 8,000 residents. Along with hilly terrain lined with homes, the city has more than 25 miles of scenic trails and six parks.

Rolling Hills Estates provides residents and visitors with a number of opportunities for recreational and sporting activities. The City owns and maintains six parks, 25 miles of equestrian trails, and 10 miles of bicycle paths. Additionally, the City has its own tennis club and stables.

Also nestled in Rolling Hills Estates is the Peter Weber Equestrian Center with access to 90 miles of beautifully manicured trails.

Rolling Hills Estates also boasts a world class golf course within the Rolling Hills Country Club, and tennis and swimming at the Jack Kramer Club.

For those who have shopping on their minds, Rolling Hills Estates is home to the mile-long Peninsula Center shopping area which includes open-air shopping plazas of the Peninsula Shopping Center and the Promenade on the Peninsula mall featuring a state-of-the-art movie theater, an ice rink, specialty restaurants, name brand retailers, and local merchants.

On Sunday mornings, Rolling Hills Estates is home to the Palos Verdes Certified Farmers’ Market located within the Peninsula Shopping Center near Starbucks.
