Summer Concert Tips:
- Arrive early to secure a good blanket spot. Some venues allow you to place your blanket hours before the concert starts, so find out the best time to reserve your spot.
- If you bring a chair, make sure it is one that sits on the ground and only provides a backrest and some padding. Many venues prohibit tall chairs so that all patrons can have an unobstructed view of the performers.
- Pack a yummy picnic that you can share with friends. There are many places to order picnic dinners that are close to each venue.
- Pack a flashlight so that when you leave the concert in the dark, you make sure you can find all your belongings that you brought with you.
- Some venues do not have easy access to bathrooms, so plan ahead.
