Los Angles South Bay Real Estate 2014 Sales Report Survey

southbay-realestate-sales-2014

Sales were higher in 2014 over the previous year. Home inventory remains low while prices are still high.

For real estate sales on the Peninsula, 2014 ended on a higher note with the average sale price up 15% and the price per sq. ft. up 7% from 2013. Purchases made with “all-cash” were a huge trend during 2014 and dropping back to normal rates at the end of year due in part to the strength of the U.S. dollar thwarting some foreign buyers.

Interest rates are still low for 30 year jumbo loans with rates around 3.75%.

Inventory of homes for sale is still low, but prices are up while interest rates remain low.  I can help you purchase or sell your home. Please contact me today!

Palos Verdes Peninsula 2014 – 2nd Quarter Sales Report Survey

2nd Quarter Palos Verdes Homes Sales Report

Sales were down, but price per square foot was up over last year.

The number of houses sold on the Palos Verdes Peininsula for the 2nd quarter of 2014 went down 15% since last year’s largely because of the lack of properties for sale.

However, a bright spot is that the average sales price is up 12.5% from last year. Overall the price per square foot was $543 in 2014 which is an increase of 3.2% over last year during the same sales period.

Mortgage interest rates are back down again making it a great time to get into that new home you’ve been looking for at a low rate which alsom makes it a good time to sell with the low inventory. A house that is priced right and shows well should have multiple offers within 30 days. Please contact me to help you sell your home or find your dream home today! Patty Sullivan at 310-791‑6025.

2014 Summer Concerts Series Schedule – Palos Verdes and Beach Cities

2014 Summer Concert Schedule

2014 Summer Concerts Series Schedule for Palos Verdes Estates and the Beach Cities

2014 Summer Concerts Schedule for Palos Verdes Estates and the Beach Cities

Please enjoy this free 2014 Summer Concerts Schedule for Palos Verdes Estates and the Beach Cities. Be sure to follow the guidelines for how to “claim your picnic space.”

We enjoy many of  these concerts each summer and can offer these tips for a great experience.

Concert Tips

  • Plan on putting down your blanket at the designated time (for example, Malaga Cove Library does not allow blankets to be placed until 3 p.m. the day of the concert and for popular bands, this can be a mad dash!).
  • If you must sit in a chair for the concert, plan on sitting in a back row. Many venues do not allow high-backed chairs on the lawn.
  • Many venues allow you to picnic before the concert starts.
  • Bring a flashlight for concerts that happen later in the summer months to help you find all your belongings when the music ends!
  • Have fun!

I am always available to answer your questions about real estate on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, the Beach Cities, Torrance and San Pedro. Please contact me at 310-791‑6025.
